Plagiarism Detection

Revista Social Fronteriza uses the Plagiarism tool as a resource to check the originality of the papers it receives to avoid plagiarism. And since January 2, 2023, the journal has acquired the use of the Turnitin system to determine the originality of all the papers it receives.

Therefore, all works submitted to the journal: Articles, Case Studies, are subjected to the analysis of similarity, to ensure that they are completely original productions; therefore, a maximum of 10% of similarity is accepted, if the percentage exceeds 25% of such similarity is considered as serious misconduct, typifying them as plagiarism. Therefore, in case it is verified that the work sent to the journal has been copied, partially or totally, the author will be notified that his/her work will be immediately excluded from any continuation in the editorial process of the journal's issue, for not complying with the ethical criteria of all scientific research, sanctioning its future publication for up to 2 years, as established by the committee of the editorial Complementos en la Ciencia.
