Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

General rules for submitting an article to the Frontier Social Journal

All papers submitted to the Revista Social Fronteriza must be original and unpublished. Manuscripts that have been partially or fully published in another journal will not be allowed.

Formal Evaluation Process
In order for an article to be evaluated by peers, the editorial team previously evaluates the pertinence of the article received, considering the formal compliance of the manuscript adapting the characteristics of the editorial.
Once the reception is validated, two evaluators are assigned according to the thematic characteristics of the branch of knowledge.
The acceptance of the manuscript will correspond only to the criteria issued by the evaluators, who will have the power to accept the article under the criteria of making modifications for its previous publication or, in fact, to reject the manuscript indicating the cause of the rejection.

Instructions for submitting a manuscript to Frontier Social Journal
The works submitted to the journal are under the guidelines of the APA Standards 7th edition, therefore, the manuscripts received will be verified to comply with this standard.

- In-text citation
1 or 2 authors are always cited by surname (Sharrock and Read, 2002).
After 3 or more authors, only the surname of the first author is cited, followed by "et al." and the year (Martin et al., 2020).
Journal article
Electronic or with DOI: Surname(s), Initials of the first name, Author, B.B (Year of publication). Title of the article. Title of the journal (italics), Volume (italics) (Number), pp-pp. http://DOI or http://URL
