Analysis and design of the parameters for the manufacture of a go-kart based on the parameters established by the fia (international motorsports federation)

The present project to be carried out has the purpose of carrying out an analysis and structural design of a Go-kart which has been meticulously executed to comply with the regulations and requirements established by the (FIA), covering crucial aspects such as its safety for the driver; Firstly, the established information analysis of the Go-Kart is carried out, which results in a structural design which complies with an Ecuadorian technical regulation NTE INEN 1323 for motor vehicles imposed by the (FIA). Regarding the selection of the previous materials in the design, three types of Go-Kart designs were selected, the most optimal for its manufacture was chosen, the three materials generally used in Ecuador were used to the manufacturing of the structure which are ASTM A36, ASTM A 500 and transmission steel; The analysis of its planning was carried out using mechanical design software known as (SolidWorks) that demonstrates a better visualization of the design to follow, applying the materials to be built with the purpose of promoting design in the automotive field and promoting automotive sports in all of Ecuador.
