Evolution of education in Ecuador: from a critical perspective

This article presents a bibliographic review on the evolution of education in Ecuador. Various relevant studies and publications are analyzed to understand the changes and transformations that the Ecuadorian educational system has experienced over time. Aspects such as pre-Columbian education, colonial influence, education in the Republican era and recent advances in the educational field are examined. Through the bibliographic methodology, data and information are collected that allow the identification of the main trends and challenges in the educational system of Ecuador. The results and the discussion provide a complete overview of the evolution of education in the country, and conclusions are presented based on the findings obtained.
