Study of the use of rainwater energy with hydraulic turbines of a residential house in the city of Santo Domingo

In this article, a study on the use of rainwater energy through the use of hydraulic turbines in a residential house in the city of Santo Domingo is presented. The objective of the study was to evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of this renewable energy capture and generation system. Precipitation measurements, design and construction of the hydraulic turbines were carried out, as well as the analysis of the results obtained. The results showed that the system for the use of rainwater energy with hydraulic turbines can be a viable and efficient alternative for the generation of energy in residential homes. In addition, it was observed that the amount of energy generated is directly related to the intensity of rainfall.This study offers relevant information to promote the use of renewable energy in the residential context.
